Be good to see some pics matey. In regards to hydraulics or air-ride it depends what you want and how fat your wallet is...

sounds interesting, the stock gearbox can cop a fair bit of flack and has a pretty good set of ratios, so its not a bad idea to keep it in the car. anythign will fit into the engine bay, just may need to tweak the radiator surround a bit, as for suspension, I look foward to seeing how you go with that as i would be interested in eventually going to airbags myself.

Moved to Reader's Rides for you. I'm intrigued that you're using the term 'hotrod' to describe your plans, are you planning specific Hot Rod style mods, or are you just using as a way of describing a 'modified old car'. I'm not getting hung up on terms here, I'm just interested in your ideas for your car.

Welcome amazonhotrod! look forward to seeing this. You need to get hold of a chap called koppak whos on this forum, as he has put a v6 in an Amazon sled he's building. Good luck with it.

Have you made any decisions yet about the power plant? Putting the V8 in there seems quite common, though as devilishdesigner said, quite a lot will fit in there. Have also seen quite a few pics of the B30 six, which is quite a nice idea, though I think you have to relocate or lose the heater.
