Here's my pride and joy
Thats quite an old pic^^^ the barry boy laguna front splitter had to come off when i lowered the front another 20mm
It is one of the last 26 mk3 polo G40's to be registered, they come with a supercharger as standard and 113bhp out of the 1272cc engine
This is how a standard engine bay looks
You can see the supercharger at the bottom left of the picture with the two black pipes coming out of it
And this is how it looks now
with the mini cooper S supercharger in place

- Bumpers, wheel arch extensions, sills, rear number plate surround and B and C pillars and boot plinth colour coded)
- Under headlamp panel blended into both arches
- Side repeators deleted
- Standard grill, DTM mirrors and rear spoiler colour coded to the wheels
- LHD N/S/R late spec rear lamp unit (no reverse light)
- Steve O uprated headlamp loom

And this is the rolling road graph from it
189bhp and 162lb/ft of torque (140 lb/ft+ is available from 2700-6700rpm!). That makes it 149bhp per litre from the 1272cc engine and at 830kg's it works out at 227bhp per ton.
The engine has now come out to be turbo'd for this little sleeper project> retrorides.proboards86.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=1180477123 as I have bigger and better plans for the red polo above
