rezult. nice one. I see you have the obligatory "vanity plate" things on the back as well. Does it say "redneck Rebel" or anything or "the south will rise again" or "you can take my gun - when you prize it out of my cold dead fingers" anywhere on the vehicle?

Cheers for all the comments, this week is going so slowly, I just want to pick her up!! That is brilliant, how much would of those set you back?? This one is costing me a grand - not bad considering it will have a full MOT, 5 brand new Bridgestone MT tyres (31"x10.5"x15) and an almost new (November last year) Edelbrock carb on it! And I'm sorry surprisingskoda, but it will have to get jacked up - ready for the 35" tyres (sorry, 'tires', it is American!) and some serious off-roading!

Man, that's as redneck as they come. I'm lovin' it. Surely a Conferderate flag painted across the bonnet wouldn't go amiss. Cruisin' to Skynard. Can't wait to see it jacked up. I can't believe it cost a grand. I'm gonna have to start searching ebay better when I decide on my next cars Seriously uber Sweet howwme Arrrrrrrlabama

You mean like this? Its good, but its too bland, to pull it off you'll need some US army stencils down the side!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Done a bit of research on it, and it turns out that it's not the 350ci (5.7) motor that I thought it was in there, it's actually got a 400ci (6.6) motor rated at 255-265hp! I'm a happy man B)

Just to drag this one out of the doldrums, with a bit of luck, I've just procured an 8 inch lift kit, some new doors and a few other bits and pieces (axles, bonnet, bumpers, gearbox etc)! Just got to figure out how to get them back from Batley.... Anyone got a van and a spare few hours I could borrow? lol Once I've built the garage (these things were such a bargain I couldn't refuse them, even though I'm running out of brick/roof money....!), I'll be getting them all fitted and then looking for some 37" tyres Happy days!

Well, I've got no room to work on anything now, not even in my spare garage (which was for working on bikes in....), but I've got one hell of a parts haul! All this for the princely sum of £300 (plus £50 for him to deliver it). Roughly comprises of an 8" Skyjacker lift kit, with 2 shocks per corner, 2 axles (with brakes and braided hoses on the front), spare TH350 autobox and transfer case, 2 doors with glass, tailgate with glass, full-size hard top, some guages, grill, bumpers, headlight surrounds, power steering pump and steering box, UJ rebuild kits, cubby box, headlights, tail lights etc. etc. Happy days! Nearly forgot these!!!
