I had one about 10yrs ago and killed it within a year, but then I drive everything like it's a truck. Slam it, tartan rug, nodding dog, leave it in Hearing Aid Beige, WRVS stickers on the doors, roof-mounted Steradent dispenser, heated colostomy bag holder in the glovebox and a radio tuned to SAGA FM. SmellofweeRide.

Aww, isn't it cute, all beige and standard.
Top marks for 'Mum Retro Ride Purchasing' too. My old bid can't drive. So no point in me presenting her with a similarly stunning present.

Nice Looks very tidy. There seems to have been an influx of beige motors on here lately which can only be a good thing

Saw one on Friday that was IIRC a H-reg panelvan.
Never saw a panelvan version before.
Were they common in the day ?

Had VW offered a diseasel version that might have been a different story though. Have always thought that if you took the back windows out of a Mk2 Polo and panelled over the floor would make a smart mini milk-float. ;D Always liked them though, good honest little cars.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
