well, i finally took some pics of my new bmw 
Its pretty cool and marks a few firsts for me.
SHOCK, its not a VW
first car with more than 4 cylinders
first front engined rear wheeld drive
first sallon
first reasonably sized car
etc
Anyhow, some pics and info.
1978 520 e12, power steering, alloys, 4 speed manual, 55000 miles, pretty mint.

Its had some small repairs to the sills that need redoing properly (bloody MOT standard welding
)
Its also got a little bit coming through on the top of the inner wing, but its really solid!
Interior, lovely avacado (think 70's bathroom suite)
Wheels
Now, although i like these wheels, i cant help but think it needa wider, bigger wheels.
I'd love polished split BBS but cant afford them.
The origionals are 6x14, any suggestions? Would it look ok slammed on these stockers?
What i really need are some early alpina alloys, the same as these but 7x16 and 8x16, finding them (and affording them) is another matter.
I would love a bit of dish ;D
The gearbox is noisy but ive found a couple of replacements, ive also found some wings. All i need then is a boot badge, a little trim for the rear door arm rest and a pair of winders.
Plans are, tidy it up, get it as nice and complete as possible, then fit rims and slam
