So...here she is in all her...erm.....glory ;D Going tomorrow to make sure she rolls, and then pushing her the 100 yds home on saturday.......100yds...i kid you not....you don't know what's hidden in garages  The story...quickly....... I posted a thread on Freecycle while feeling a bit low...just for fun really....it read...'interesting car wanted'.......and without being cheeky, just asked if anyone had something lying around in the way......i expected metro's 'n stuff lol! So....the lady gets in touch and said i'd be helping her considerably as she's moving house, and the car belonged to her late husband, who sadly died 12 years ago  I've had a look and the chassis has been totally restored and is in impeccable condition from what I can see......but I will have a good poke around when I collect on saturday..... the engine (V6 Essex) is out of the car....as is most of everything else lol!... BUT........ It's UBER cool, it's free, well, i'll have to offer something,and i'm well chuffed  so here she is.......     does anyone have the instructions for assembly!!!!!  |

does anyone have the instructions for assembly!!!!! From what i can remember, you get all the kids in the school hall around 9am, get them all seated on the floor with legs crossed and start off with the Lords Prayer. Sorry, i think thats the wrong type of assembly you're after. ;D |

Thats a legendary bargain!! Unbelievable!  So does it come with the V6 aswell? I assume it does, thats brilliant. Good luck with the re-build! *Some motto about not getting anything unless you ask for it definately belongs here* |

not realy, you can get rialtos and robins for nothing or just a few quid if you are prepared to do some work; they are missing a wheel mind. any Robins around here are high money £2995 at dealers for a M - Plate Nightfire Red Example don't go to a dealer, they always charge loads more for some reason, to a dealer my kitten is work £3k, to everyone else its worth about £1k; dealers realy inflate the prices for some reason. look in the free adds, knock on doors etc, you can get a mk2 robin for sub £300 if you look for them, rialtos and mk1 robins are bassically free. teardrop mk3 robins can fetch a pretty high price though due to being bassically new; but do look hidious. |
