Am I right in thinking that that's V6 which shares similarities to the 1500 V4 in my Saab? Taunus derived? Any idea if there are any parts specialists for them?  |

Any idea if there are any parts specialists for them? its a 2.3 cologne, the same engine as the mk2 granada, 2.8 capri etc i think it is/was the V4 derived engine V6 untended for the european market , available in 1.8 ( that must have fast??), 2.0,2.3, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8, 2.9, 3.1 - and maybe larger. but in the uk it replaced the essex Parts specilists for the cologne? - i havent found any, a lot of cologne spares are easily available, do you difficulty finding V4 parts? Removed the seats and rolled the carpets back, to reveal the full horrors - and the sand O/S/F  rear  N/S/F  rear  i have old stock sills and inner sills gathering dust in the shed, they should get replaced this week, and the other small plates required |

the last owner obviously wanted to keep the wheels, or they have already been sold, i have ghia alloys, but may to use 14 inch wheels if i used vented discs

Few hours with the mig, she'll be right as rain. I have mine sold now, but after doing all of the work required (axle bushes, water pump, brakes) i'm having second thoughts. I put the capri laser rims back on it with 185/70s and it's looking pretty good too.

Coool! Looks like scaryoldcortina's yard! I was there on monday but it was all closed.
I love Mk4/5 Cortina's and at the moment they don't seem to be as pricey as the rest of the RWD Ford's.

I love Mk4/5 Cortina's and at the moment they don't seem to be as pricey as the rest of the RWD Ford's. Only a matter of time though..... Yup unfortuneately. Kinda have the feeling Sierra's are gunna go up in price first though. Also think Volvo 340 Prices are gunna starkly increase soon |

new sills and inner sills on, changed the rear lights - which as you can see were very faded  and changed the front wheels from 135/12's to 185/14's from a mondeo ( just for mot - as i havent got tyres for the alloys yet  couple of void bushes to renew, and the interior to put back and next week should be ready for the MOT |

interior back in and secured   alternator changed ( not charging) and new belts added today, car looks much better with 14's on it, rather than fiesta wheels   put the Azura alloys on the back, and i quite like them what do you think? :unsure: should go mad and have two tyres put on for the front ?  two void bushes to change tomorrow and a general look round before the MOT |

swop the 2.3 for a 2.8 with a 3 litre carb. 2.3 is no faster than the 2 litre but drinks lots more petrol, smoother than the pinto though admitedly. 13" wheels will fit over capri vented discs and 2.8i granny calipers.
