	I haven't been on here a while, but some of you may remember that I did a roadtrip last year in a Volvo. Considering that we wanted to do a roadtrip again this year, we got two more cars since a few more guys wanted to do it. First car we got was this Swede; A Volvo 740 GLE Estate: And second on the list is a 1989 Ford Escort Cabrio: The Volvo so far is fine, but the Escort has an unnerving shaking problem which occurs at around 30-40MPH and above, with the power on. With the Power off it feels as if the tracking is out very slightly, but nothing major, so I'm not too sure on that :S. Enjoy if you can lol.

	Nice Volvo! I really like those 740 workhorses! Escort looks good too! Is it all rubbed down for paint or just in certain areas? Shaking when the powers on sounds like a CV joint to me?

	Cheers for the comments Street . We bought the car like that. The car was originally white, but it looks like he painted it blue, and decided that the White was best. The previous owner resprayed the front wing and door on the nearside, so they look presentable, but he didn't get around to finishing the rear quarter, which is why the blue is showing. In terms of bodywork, it seems very solid, with only two small patches I can see on it (much better than my dad's XR3i when we sold that (that had many patches (Floorpan and bootfloor, both of which seem sound as do the sills on this one along with the wheelarches . I was thinking the CV joint also, but I do not fancy buying a set and finding out something else was wrong :lol:. On the weekend I plan to see if the Lower arms are gone (they're meant to be new, but I guess everyone can tell porkies).
