Hello, last week I swapped my anglia for a Peugeot 205 Rallye, in Express Yellow. ( with Wayne105, thanks mate!) I am so made up with the car, wanted one for ages, now I have one.! Here is a pic of the beast, and ill upload some work in progress pics once the bluetooth dongle plays ball!! Tha car is tidt, but needs a polish, and a few bits to make ok, needs a front bumper though, and definiatly some interior!  Steve PS don't know why the pic is so bloody big! |

are these cars a 1294 or 1360? They are very cool, love the steelz. I almost bought one just like this from a salvage yard in Sunderland for the former ms_bo11ox some years ago, luckily I stayed on the path of shiteousness by getting her a J-reg Seat Ibiza SXi instead which was like driving a 1948 Ferguson TE20 in comparison. Sadly these 205s are not as cool as the lightweight twin-carbed crazy french Rallye version however, why did they water it down for UK consumption? I think you should replace the carpets with rubber mats, lighten the flywheel, fit a barely driveable camshaft and bike throttle bodies for TEH zWINN.

These cars are the 75bhp 1360cc engine as fitted to the 205GR, not very exciting I'm afraid.
The 1294cc cars are the euro-rallyes, which are very specialised group N machines. Very sought after and very expensive.

A lad down the street from my mum and dads had one in that colour. He wrapped it nicely round a lamp post.

Thanks for all the possitives, the engines had a breathed on cam as standard, so it will pick up a bit better, but plans are basically, to get some steels, a bumper, and some better interior, as mine is shot at!
Only 150 in yellow, that makes it a fairly limited car....!!

Glad you are happy with the and you are gunna love it for ever, will be jealous when you have it up and running as I never got very far, as its not a skoda LOL so hubby never got ought done, but now I have a Rapid Cabrio things will be different (fingers crossed)......

YEah, the Rapid is lush, i had the green one wayne has got...wished i still had it...BOOOGER IT!
Yeah I'm made up with the 205 to be honest, needs a bit doing to it, but if alls equal, it will be OTR by end of next month!
