wow, that's an amazing sud, with that low mileage silver is a great bodycolour for the Alfasud, mine used to be silver originally, but a previous owner liked black better

thanks boxerman, its my fourth sud the last one was a 1.5gold cloverleaf in the late 80s i almost forgot about the alfa 'bug' untill i seen this car on ebay a few years back, the bug is back !

do you have any plans to upgrade or modify the sud?
i've owned 6 alfasuds, 5 of them were projects i've sold on without completing. now i have an '83 sud Ti QV with a lot of modifications ;D
hoping to finish this project this summer

I may keep the car standard, but i have a 1.5 engine and have ideas of the Ti look twin headlights cloverleaf wheels etc, whatever i do I'm keeping to the standard alfasud look.

this is how my sud looked when i bought her a year and a half ago the complete brakesystem renewed coolingsystem renewed suspension renewed engine and gearbox cleaned-up almost time for refitting all the parts front and rear koni sports adjustable schockers -40mm loweringsprings, front is dropped another 25mm by using sudsprintstruts - 15" alloy wheels - OMP strutbrace - Goodridge flexihoses - CSC exhaust - K&N airfilters on the carbs - 1712cc carbs engine with a shortratio 105bhp gearbox - bumpers, skirts etc sprayed in bodycolour - enginebay resprayed - all suspensionparts blasted en powdercoated - and a lot more detailwork pics will follow in my own topic

That low mileage sud looks like a good catch nomad. Hope you make a start on her soon. Boxerman, your's is looking very smart indeed, look forward to seeing more of that I need to build up some enthusiasm to get on with my 33, so you guys may help.

Thanks sav, I'm in scot next sunday/monday furniture run, i was once very close to buying a 1.7 16v 33 in black low mileage, wife and kids money etc ! ended up with a peugeot 305 diesel estate !!! and missed the sud green cloverleaf i sold for pennies.
boxerman thats the look I'm after, the first series1 1.2 and last 1.5ti & cloverleaf suds are best, i have owened all the gti pugs and golfs none are as good as a sud (when working) MK1 Scirocco storm come very close.

i used to race one of these on the oval a few years back, man talk about under steer,full lock and it still tried to go straight. but on the plus side it was rapid on the straights but not much good when you lost all those places on the bend. nice fun car though.

Must be just on the oval that cos on the road the handling is amazing? Matt
