that wood effect stuff seems good for the money! may get some to put by for a ride! cool car there bro

by being very careful and steady with the application, a bit of heat with a hairdryer should make it a bit more workable.
obviously i'm just guessing but we'll see when i have a go!

any chance when you get round to the sticky wood bit (sorry) you could do a bit of a basic guide, may try this on a car i have but i'm not using, is the chequered roof going to be dark oak & a beech wood finish ireckon it would look better than it sounds, cheers again!

240s are the law. Hiding behind those chunky plastic bumper covers are alloy girders that could be polished up to a audience blinding shine... They're the same shape as the bumpers, they just don't bend round the corners.

I reckon a beechwood roof would look the shizzle.
When you apply it what about spraying some water/soap mix on the paint first like how you fit window tints to allow you to move the fablon a bit more.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

i'm on a definite chrome bumper hunt now! anyone finds some please let me know. further development is the rubber mid body trim (above wood) will be making way for a chrome strip to tie into the roof trim.
glad folks are getting into it, I thought the original idea might have been a bit too 'different'

DON'T USE SOAPY WATER!!!!
I tried on one of my panels, it was a mare to apply!
Just take your time, peel back about 4 inches of backing, align the vinyl, then move along slowly, peeling back a couple of inches at the time, use a squeegee or filler spreader to push any bubbles to the edge, stubborn ones can be pricked with a scalpel blade and pressed out.

well, rain has stopped play, the swine!
don't want to go too OTT with the chrome, but to be honest i have yet to find the line between classic bling and halfords overkill!

hmm i see your point,if u get chrme bumpers and that line between the wood and brown then there might be enough chrome already, have u tried photoshoping some chrome bumpers on??
