Well it got a new record today on the ~70mph cruise to bournemouth along fairly empty M25/M3/M27 - 11mpg z0mg!1!  The idea of a big, powerful modern diesel is tempting at this point in time. |

Tigran..... engine.... BMW 2.5TDS? Common engine, cheap as chips, chips up nice and powerful, straight 6 so should fit in easy peasy in the space. Just a thought.
Loving that photochop. Need to see one with them other wheels too mind.

Yeah 700odd quid for 4 17" rimZ rocks hard. With the 250notes on top for the adaptor kit - that is some seriously gnarly value.

Well I killeded it good n proper. Drove it back from bournemouth today and it proved too much for the old girl. First of all I got a nice nose-full off asbestos-containing-brake shoes as they jammed 'open' and heated up to a stupid level, next came the blow out whilst doing ~70 on the M3 (which is scary when you have no seatbelts and a spear for a steering column). Then when I started it up to get it on the back of the RAC truck (they got there in like 10mins) the headgasket decided it wanted to retire.
So it did. Tats!
Think it's time for it to get a new 24v heart and some modern stuff under its skin.
