This is my A Series Opel Manta 1972. Its just been restored, with a new skin in VW Orange. Its got a 5 speed 2.0i redtop engine with induction kit. The interior has just been totally redone with cream shag-pile carpet and recovered seats and centre console, also doen in cream. The alloys are 17 inch deep dish with low profiles. The car has alos been lowered with upgraded brake system. Its also got a new soundsystem about to be put in that will blow yer mind

Very nice.
Quite 'pro-touring' if I have to put a sticky label on it.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Very nice! I don't usually like such big wheels on that type of car, but as was stated by pogweasel, it does look rather pro-touring More stickage for the ultimate win though, and maybe space out the rear wheels a smidge?

cheers for the comments although i don't quite know what the "pro-touring" comment means....lol
this is my first retro car and the first car ive ever restored/modded, so I'm pretty proud of it. Just wish i had space to have more c :(ars like it but i don't

Looks great buddy and a nice colour - suits the car perfectly. Manta A's are the dart - another car on my wish list!

I'm liking that a lot! My first thoughts were also that it was very pro-touring. A bit more out of the suspension and those big-offset rims would come into their own in terms of 'tuck'. Pro Touring - standard body, big rims (ideally tucked into the arch 'cos of a low stance) modern drivetrain.

ok i get ya
I love the look of american cars but with uk petrol costs, there not a practical car to run over here. Thats the reason i went for the Manta a series as its look was pretty close to a mustang or camaro but without the huge engine.
