Yee-hah! Got oone of my favourite ever cars yesterday from Kyle of this very manor who made a colossal road trip to bring it up here and we struck a deal with my Vectra. Only the one pic for now I'm afraid, too busy driving it and trying to relive my misspent youth  Plans are for a decent mopping firstly though painywork is possibly beyond much hope, then a few other bits and bats too. Mostly appears to be very solid though. Quite fancy some Peco/Janspeed malarky, a spot of lowering and some non gen alloys as a starting point for it. Will get some more pics up when I get the chance...  Cheers Kyle, even the missus sort of half likes it! |

I know mate, had one of these a while back with a full PCS system (cheap at the time as my mate used to work for Demon Tweeks) and nothing bought the sound of the engine out better than a tasty system or back box!

Nice. Have spotted a few of these for sale recently - where have they all been hiding?!
People go mad for the later SRi130 but a plain SRi would do. Or maybe a posh CD...

Cheers. Mark, fancy some big rimmage (ooh err missus) mincing with it that's for sure. Trouble is I've got so much sh*te here that demands my hard earned I don't know when it'll happen-but it will!

I did wonder about the mirrors and I really don't like them colour coded. It is the ex eBay one, don't know what it made when it was on there but led to believe a timewaster won the listing. Haven't got a scooby what struts it has sorry mate, how will I find this out please as minus 40mm seems like way too good an idea to ignore?!

These are getting very scarce now, you have a little gem.
Ive had all 3 versions of the Cavalier ( currently got a 96 SRI which will be up 4 sale as soon as Ive picked up my Scimitar) and, for me, this version was the best to drive. It feels more nimble round the bends, the cabin just seems that much more airy and I really loved the two I owned, a 1.6L and a 2.0ltr CDI.
Personally i think GM went backwards with the MK3.
Cherish it, one day you will find that they have all gone!!!

Have to confess the Mk3 eight valve SRi is another of my all time favourites but the Mk2 just shades it I think.
Graham, don't do anything with your exhaust and filter just yet mate. If/when I get some spondoolies together I'll have them mate! Pm me a price and I'll check collection options-won't be for a couple of weeks yet though-that cool with you?

Its still a mystery what happened to these, one minute they're everywhere then they just vanished. When they were around all the time i never payed much notice to them but now when i see them, i really want one but i cant find one locally anywhere  |
