It used to be easy to find a 'good' Viva like this in the local paper for about £200. I miss those days!
Nice ride Tigran.

You're making a niche for yourself with Petrol pump forecourt pics. Cars always look great under petrol station lights, well done

Rmad, those days! When you could go out and buy a decent car with a fist full of notes, I miss them too.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

You managed to get it then...didnt sound too hopeful at one point. You`ve got two miniature 1965 Pontiac GTOs now! (thats what they look like in that aerial shot)

(thats what they look like in that aerial shot) Yeah it all looked a bit dire for a while - i didn't count on how matey people are to you after only a short time of knowing them - the guy that helped me out is a total non-petrol head yet still threw away a day and a half of his revision time to drive the focus back for me - LEGEND!

Well have finally got round to using it as the daily, given it a clean up and took the rear part of the exhaust off (to about under the drivers seat) as it was shot and was clanging like a mofo.
Have been setting off the car alarms in the area with it ;D , never knew how well the viva goes round corners - great sucess. Will get the white-bands on the slotties tomorrow and in turn the slotties on the 4-door, can't wait.

Excellent ;D I had one exactly the same as that ;D ;D They do drift beautifully as well, proper 4 wheel drifting as well as theres not enough power to do any thing else ;D Just keep pushing and pushing and they are so progressive and predictable.... one of the best balanced cars I have ever driven Very very cool and I am seriously envious ;D

Lulz - having taken off the neccessary length of 'zorst to make it driveable, everything up to the downpipe decided it wanted out as well. So gave up it's ghost at the joint of the only remaining silencer - so now I have only a manifold and downpipe. Which sounds mad, but i'm thunking that the plodd might not love it as much as I do, so gonna raid the kwikfit parts department (their big skip out back) to see what i can find tomorrow. In the meantime will get a vid tonight of how truly awesome it sounds ;D
