slam it over a set of Ronal Turbos - or better still some wide 13s! I was thinking a set of ronal turbos, but ive got my heart set on the compomotives now especially seeing a pic of my car wiv them on:D sorry bout the txt speak, just rushing and its quicker haha not too keen on the dtm mirrors to be honest. what about some little racey ones... or or do you think that will look rediculous?? choosing mirrors is a tricky one..... 4th nova from the bottom is the idea ive got with the smooth boot and number plate recess. opinions??

If you really like the smothed boot, go for it, but its a whole world of nightmares to get right, you've gotta weld a plate in as flush as you can, then skim with filler. The problem is as its such a large falt are its hard to get it really smooth, plus your boot is pretty flexable so ultimatly it will crack!
I'd keep it simple, drop it, small/wide rims - sorted!

Good good, its working lads, slowly coming round to our way of thinking ;D
Like has already been said, smooth boot 'could' look good if done PERFECTLY - anything else will look wibblepoo.
How about the original mirrors, but 'shortened'?
Comps will look good in the same colour as your car, or black.

i've been looking at novas today and the only mirrors i've seen are standard, standard but colour coded, and those you've got on there now....so i guess you've not a lot of options.
my mate had some revo 5 spokes on his nova, sprayed the same shade of white as his nova and that looked really nice. that might be an option? his was a rally car, and had a cage sprayed the same colour...maybe you could do it if that's the look you want? or possibly the colour of the strut brace? or is that a bit too gaudy?
another boy had one of those late vauxhall chrome grilles, fitted to his, and that looked alright. might be a bit boy racer though?
looks like a real smart car though...i notice you said it's your first car? if you're a young driver, is it not a lot to insure? if prices are coming down, i'd not mind one for my self

Love it! I still say that the Nova is one of the few cars that looks great with a flushed tailgate. You've done a blinding job on that bumper aswell! One of the main things that spoils a flush tailgate is a badly re-located numberplate, so nice work there. Those wheels look great aswell, seriously smart and not over the top, a class act all round look forward to seeing pics of it all together!

Wheels look great, but how did you do the bumper? I though they were plastic, so how do you graft parts together?
