I thought a formal introduction was overdue to my barge. Its a 1980 W116 S-class Merc with a 3.5 V8 engine. The plan was to buy a big tug to get to the Le Mans 24 Hour race in June and I thought what better for towing beer across France than this? Period tunes always sound better on an old wireless Pictured below with my new beer cooler

Like the nice straight Merc. Tint the windows a little and fit a venetian blind in the back window. Go for the subtle look imo. I think you will need a bigger caravan if you intend touring for anything over two days though.........

Very nice - any plans for it? My only plan is to keep it running nicely and use it over summer then sell up and buy something (much) smaller. It is a lovely drive though, much more comfortable and relaxed than my moden civic.
