TB's are from a GSXR750, cossie injectors, black top zetec fuel rail and regulator on a home brew manifold mate. so today I made a coil pack mount  should be alright like that, I wanted it mounted to the engine as ive heard stories of leads breaking due to the vibration. plus a lot of other people mount it to the heater bowl and mines nice and shiney so I didn't want to put it there either...... theres another leg underneath that you can't see so its nice and stable. then for my next trick I had to mount the ARB, the aRB sat about 2-3" away from where it should have sat, as the wheel sat too far back in the wheel arch (as on escorts the ARB locates the fore and aft) so knowing that I was going to have to struggle to move the ARB forwards I devised a cunning plan that encorporated a company mondeo as the moving force for the wheel ;D ;D ;D  chucked a chock under the rear of the front wheel, tied said mondeo to the back axle....and bingo, one destroyed clutch later the ARB was bolted in place. |

more wiring! i had to wire in my fan and a distrubution block for the realys, so they have a feed direct from the battery via some 4AWG cable, as theres so much extra stuff in there it needed a good strong feed instead of tapping into original wires. all the new stuff (ECU, Fuel pump, Fan, CarPC etc) will run off this via respective relays if they need to be with the ignition stuff. interior wise the wiring is done apart from the central locking in the doors, i've wired it in just need to sort out what doors i'm going to use before i mount the solenoids.  |

very impressive! few questions please if i may, what colour is the engine bay and what paint is it? looks really deep the gloss and finish, is it 2pk?  |

two pack audi nimbus grey, VW scene paint job circa 2005, i've got 7 litres of the stuff left in a mad panic buy when 2 pack was being banned ;D ;D

righty....... the drivers seat was a bit worn,  but i thought i'd live with it anyway as it wasn't too bad. but then when doing a bit of wiring i did this:  meant that i couldn't just laow it, which is good in a way because it meant that i'd have a fresh and minty drivers seat. anyway, my friend over the road had a spare mint passenger seat (its good to live near a rover nut) that i could have for nothing, assuming i could swap the leathers over i then went about undressing the pair  then i cut them in half (this is beginning to sound like something you'd hear at a murder trial)  and then threw away all the parts that were no use to me  seats....reupolstered....bolted together....waxed....runners.....DONE  |

Pink harnesses are great ... grey/silver + pink is a top colour contrast. Although it is a shame they don't match the seat insert (either pink insert, or hessian harness) |

i like the contrast with the hessian and the pink tbh, i think i'll get the harness pads retrimmed in hessian too....... they were practically given to me on the promise that i put them in the car, we had them hanging up at MPC for literally years as no one ever bought them ;D ;D  |

I like the pink harnesses. Not that I would have bought them if I saw them in a shop, but the contrast is nice.

few ends tidyied, nothing ground breaking but i thought i'd try out my new cameraphone nonetheless......... started debadging the grill donor:  host  put 4 door plugs on all the doors, not very exciting but that means the alarm works on all 4 doors........  then went for the VERY tedious task of wiring the engine bay, after my issues finding a decent ignition live i drew this:  instead of using the original live which meant messing about with 9v and 2 cables, i run it off the back of the key, problem with this being that i'd already designed the loom with the live coming from the original location, whcih meant that the alarm needed rerouting, so i split some of the engine bay wiring from the loom tape and made the alarm even more confusing and profound as it runs round the car for no apparent reason ;D ;D  |

started the day doin a bit of washing  i was doing the wiring....... the car was roasting and i was getting frustrated with my head being under the dashboard......thats when mexico pointed out:  so i took it out, which was a 20 minute job......i had an old loom to compare it too........  then went about laying it out and doing all the jobs i needed to do on my living room floor in the shade........  |

LOL at the dog! Pink details would rock, such as throttle body trumpets and wheel bolts! Hessian looks great.

wiring is a real bore as i said, loom was out, i've spent 3 days getting it perfect, one of those things i don't want to go wrong as it usually ends in a fire ;D so, i went from this:  to this: (the one on the right) to this:  and now if i see so much as another piece of 16 gauge cable or the bleep of a multimeter or the smell of solder then i think i'm going to cry |
