- the fact its on gravel with no board or anythin solid to jack on
- its bassically on full extension
(thats the the hazards i can spot) interesting project none the less; keep the updates coming! |

Oh i realize that the situation is not perfect, i just think that id have to be under the car or something before it becomes "stupidly dangerous". It's not like I'm trying to change the exhaust or anything. Thanks for all the comments anyway!  |

 1e vacuum advance dizzy  2x cb650 bike rotting away  Add the 1e dizzy + the cb650 carbs to this 4efe. squeeze it into my car    choco's ae86 he's a very happy bunny  my ep70, in side profile perhaps a mini 86 may be alot of work So today i actually set out to chop some springs, i had another spare set ro experiment on.   Rained most of the day. that slowed me up.    I learned that ep70 starlet front spring should be cut from the bottom, one coil is good(thats what i did) maybe able to got to 1 1/4 coils, and still not have any problems. The rears are a different story there is no preload on the spring you can practically take it out of it seat by hand, cutting the rear spring's without having some-how shortening the stroke is impractical for any one planning to do some hard cornering  In the end i only got the front done (effing rain  ) and it is not enough dropage. Need to get some generic coilover platforms for the front then i can spec my own spring for the front and rear, The rear will be lowered by, i think, remounting the damper's lower on the rear axle and installing better longer bump stops Or a shorter damper insert and cut the strut down a bit we shall see. |

Wheres the summer gone? wiggling around in the mud and rain today I got my side exit exhaust all fixed up, my welding is curse word so no photos of it. Drivers seat mount is broken again so I cleaned it up a bit and was gonna give it bash welding it myself but after the mess I made of the exhaust (arc welding) I think i'l just buy a mig and start over with fresh metal.     Drags a tiny bit on right handers but I can live with for the gorgeous noise! |

Got my log book today! previous owner was a bit confused about how to change it over. So it only took forever to get it.  Let the serious mods begin! Want to band the standard 13" wheel, but probably will just get some 13x6 out of the scrapyard  Painted my wheels in the mean time  Bad pic (failing light) reminds you of an early yamaha/rossi rep don't it?  Just need's a 46 in the same yellow just behind the drivers door and in front of the rear arch |
