haha glad u like it mate..... yea i will try do it when i have a bit of spare time, this all took long enuf!! only truble is shes not exactly retro..... gna sort tht out tho, shud b goin 2 buy an R31 next week as a bit of tramp sideways!! do the classic, chop springs and weld the diff.. happy days

WHAT?!?!?   I think shipping a car from Australia is suprisingly expensive, there was a thread about it a while back and the upshot of it was that it would cost something like 3k-ish I think, so it would have to be something fairly rare and exclusive to Oz to justify it I reckon (it is in Oz, right?) Liking your progress with the R5, you seem pretty happy doing your own thing with it and that will always be cool. If you like the bonnet with the extension over the lights then i'm glad it's going back on, 'cos pleasing yourself is what it's all about  I reckon the colour coded engine looks fappin ace aswell! I usually don't like painted engines but white looks very smart. Are you going to do the whole 'tucked' engine bay thing too? Like hiding the washer bottle, expansion tank, coil etc? I think that would be cool. Also, nice car whitesdriftyr32! Looks sweet in white and those rims are lush

yea ur man streets right bout the importing, bout 3jigs to it over! you can pick up a tidy 32 for around 4-5 these days anyways!! wud b gud 2 bring it back wiv me tho..... leave maccas in cloud of tyre smoke rather than clutch smoke fm your poxy nova hey!
nice 1 bout the rims, pitty the J i imported em from didnt like em much and rubbed em on pretty much every kurb he went near!!

chris, get them pics up i sent you of the old turbo box!!!! u remember that day i took em?! was the day we went 2 all them scrap yards coz i managed 2 rip the back of my gearbox off, ruin the diff, and split a driveshaft in half! poor peugeot haha
and the flutter issue, baring in mind your puttin your front mount on yea? what u need 2 make sure is there are 2 pipes between the turbo and filter, 1 u need 2 keep stock coz of the airflow meter (does the 5 even have 1 lmao?) and the second is the 1 u can change, depending on the angle of the second pipe a good new bit of 3-4" exhaust will do the job lovely (thts what i got on the liner) then u need 2 rubber adaptors, bit of silcone hose 2 slip onto the turbo and a couple of jubbly clips then robbert is very much your fathers brother..... whummmmmmpp chuff chuff chuff chuff.
have you got ur make-shift side exit on this 1? the gud old cherry bomb haha

yeah the tucked bay thing seems like a nice idea ill see what gets done when the engines out just before the summer...
definately getting tidyed right up in there...

Either I'm getting old even faster than I thought or I've stumbled upon the Dyslexic Sellotape Modders Massive... I'm enjoying watching this thread, even though it makes my eyes water.
