Ive done minor work and running repairs to it but havent really changed anything...................Yet!! I'm planning to put 13" deep dish wheels on it along with some arches, A bigger engine, lowered suspension, better brakes, some I.C.E. (thats my job ;D) and re-trim the insides! Oh and maybe a few other little touches ;D Watch this space!!!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Love that, seen one before that had no roof and you stepped over the side to get in, yours seems a little more useful in our climate - I notice the stuf on the rear wing - do you have caterham style wet weather doors that clip on?

Yep well spotted mate I do have clip on wet weather doors for it so it almost makes it practicle (ish) LOL ;D Most of the mini shorties tend to have no roofs as its easier to put back togeather! Getting a roof on a shortened mini is really hard to get right!! The join has been disguised by a removable glass sunroof on mine and looks spot on Ive only seen 1 or 2 shorty Clubman minis and none with a roof yet, so It makes my car pretty unique LOL One may pop up someday though!! Heres a pic with the doors on........ And some more ramdom shots..............

;D ;D ;D I'm not normally a fan of shortened minis or pink ones, but what other car says "I have steel balls" as well as that one does? Respect due to you Sir, for having the large enough cahones to drive about in that, and the pic would suggest that it's an effective babe-magnet too! Nicely done that man.

Wet weather gear does look practical(ish)! I always fancied making one of these but never found the time. I presume if you go roofless it's relatively simple as all mechanicals are on the front, just need to cut and shut and insert some big ass bars where the top of the door would be and skin it over?

Ok yes "with a little help from my friends!" The handling is........ well......... interesting!! LOL Obviously the turning circle is awesome, as shown in the vid, but you have to be really aware when you are driving it!! Its still on standard suspension so it does have a bit of body roll so it can lean over and want to spin around (which ive done a few times ........... So no heavy cornering or braking yet!! However, you can have some fun with it! If you hit the brakes hard to lighten up the back and turn the steering, you can do a "handbrake turn" with the foot brake and if you hit the brakes really hard in a straight line you can get the back wheels nearly 2 feet in the air LOL ;D . Oh and speed bumps are amazing as it can clean jump them at speed LOL ;D My favorite (and hardest) party trick is to put a coke can on the floor, drive up to it and hit the brakes, get it to "endo" with the rear wheels in the air, and squash the can with the front valence as it comes down!! Takes a bit of practice that one He he!! I will be uprating and lowering the suspension and fitting 13" wheels with low profile tyres which should improve the handling a lot!! Oh and I found this phone vid of me doing my first endos LOL ........
