Gauge is tank out job on a sierra, which 99% of the time means sheared captive nuts time if not careful
Make sure you soak the 2 bolts by the spare wheel well and the strap retaining bolt a good few times with wd40. If they start to go tight just spray again and do it up, leave for a few mins and repeat until the bolts are out don't force them or its welder out time to put the tank back in

Update. Got new wheels on now. 13" RS Alloys painted roughly in black. Look slightly odd at the moment because they could do with a nice refurb an the car needs a huge drop. Pictures later.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Haven't got a clue mate. Apparently a Fiesta was rolling on them before my Sierra. How about making the rear wider

Some peeps running cossies etc on escort cossie rims (16x8) often mod the front arch, thats an option, or even try stretch new tryes on the front. few options. what size are the tyres?

Cant even think what they can of come off originally. The lad I bought them off didnt really know much just that they'd been on a Fiesta before I bought them, Mk3 I presume.

Jonny- How strange, where would that make mine registered then? Brighton I think! Those rims look RWD to me - Capri maybe? 13s will go on any Sierra with rear drums. Acceleration should be improved now too!

Them's 2.8i Special rims. Nice car. Had a Tasman Blue one just the same and a 2.0 hatch in the same colour. You still got the 14" steels?
