Hello everyone, just joined and thought I'd share my current ride with you all. This is my Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 (also known as a Cloverleaf 4,) essentially a rebodied HF Intergrale 16v with a 2.0 turbo and full time 4wd. It's not as quick as the former, being bigger and heavier, but once on boost it doesn't hang around (0-60 in about 6.5 seconds.) It also comes with loads of toys and is far comfier and better day to day than the 'grale. As far as I know, only 12 were ever sold in this country (all lhd), this one being a Swiss import. Today there are about 8 left on the roads in the UK, including this one.
Being an Alfa random bits are always falling off and things stop and start working on a regular basis. It does 20mpg, the dealers aren't interested, the boot is small, parts expensive..........and I love it It's just so much fun to drive; you never see a normal 155, let alone a Q4.
A few modifications
-Full Longlife stainless exhaust, de-cat
-Ripspeed induction kit (no really, works just fine)
-Boost raised to 0.9 bar
-OZ Alloys, Falken tyres
-OMP front Strut Brace
-Battery moved to boot
-Lowered 30mm on Koni springs
-Mountney Raid steering wheel (not in photos)
-Racetec boost gauge and voltmeter in A-pillar
-Sportpac rear spoiler
-Turbo timer
-Goodridge braided hoses
-fusion speakers, sub and amp, Pioneer head unit, Q-Dos wiring
-Black side repeaters, cloverleaf stickers
dyno'd at 198 bhp, 229 f/lb
I'm only a poor work-shy student, so can't afford to do much to it, other than replace what keeps falling off. Had an incident last week where the nsf tyre blew whilst the car was parked up (!) so need a new front wing now
