What size/manufacture tyres did you go for in the end? I went the 185/45 Nankang NS2 route. A good size (if a little wide) and apparently a good performing tyre too. I had to get them online from Germany because every single place round here I went in said '185/45? You must mean 185/55 mate' and seemed bewildered when I insisted I was right. ;D

My tyres arrived today! Finally! All manner of nonsense went on, including some thieving German couriers. However, they arrived earlier and I've just got them stuck on. Quick pic: They're probably one of the skinniest profile rubbers I've come across. No stretch really, but they sit nice and square. The camber problems and protrusion have sorted themselves out, as I'd hoped. You can see the satin finish I ended up with, too. I think a rendezvous with Monsieur Stikk may be in order. Heart says 80mm, brain reckons 60mm and the usual spring sources reckon no more than 40mm........

I did have a Panda once, but I wasn't allowed to 'do' it as it was the Wife's car!

Woah - this has taken ages, but then it has been doing sterling service as my daily driver. Here's the current guise, complete with clear lenses (and a correct headlight) and slammage. ;D The height is fine for both looks and rural daily driver duties. I'll get some spacers for the back just to finish the stance off I think.

That is TOUGH looking! Hard Panda, good look, like a miniature uno turbo. So when are you gonna put the uno turbo running gear in it then?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
