This is my '65 Opel Rekord A. The engine is a standard 1700 cc Originaly bought by an older lady, who hasd the car for 20 years. Then bought by a younger guy who had the car, who later sold it to the guy I bought it from, who had it sitting in an old house, along with 22 other old Opel cars. After showing the car to my Mom, she told me, that she used to have one just like only '64. So as it turnes out, I've been driving around in a car just like this when I was a hell of alot younger. (3 years old) Lowered 60mm in the front, and the rear will soon follow. Decorating the airfilter. Rock 'n' roll Future plans for the car is: Lowering the rear end. re-colouring the seats red. cleaning up the engine-room tuning the engine. (hasn't been done since 1965 I think)

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

It's got coiled springs in the front, and I don't know what they're called in english. But in tranlated danish they're called "leaf-springs" in the rear. I'm not changing them, just adding some spacers between the axl and the spring.

Well thanks so much ev'rybody, for the kind words. I'm loving the car myself too. The reason I bought, was because my wife and I were expecting a baby, and the old van, was swapped for a Renault Kangoo. One day on my way to work, two young guys in a Vito, were laughing and pointing their fingers at me. That's when I decided that I was in serious need of a cooler car.
