this is my rover sd1 2600 vdp, ibought it a week before my 16th birthday for £180 of a bloke in a local garage he was selling it on behlf of an old lady who had owend it since 1986, i planed to restore/modify it but all i really did was change the pads, and by a sh*t rake of parts(job lot bloke hat broke a rare twin plenem to put the engine in a manta an wanted rid of anything not needed although he kept the axles and the wheels to put on the manta) theres a few reasons it never really got started first at that time i was spendin all my money on the snap on van, so there was no money, second i soon realised iwas never goin to get insured on it for another 6 years and last some ar8se hole scratched every curse word*in panel after have in a fight with my mate . then i lost all intrest, ive tried to sell it but the only time people came to see it i was in bristol, and i don't think my my mum is the best sales person, i don't want to scrap it cause its got a lot of usefull spares, but if i got rid of the spare id steal a carb of it and use it in a mates field but that would be a shame, ideal id like to sell it to someone who'd restore it or break it to keep another on the road, but i need rid of it soon cause my mum says when i get rid of it she'll go halfer's with me on a manta and pay the insurance
