Just a quick one to put some pics of my latest ride up. I bought it for the missus to potter around in, but hopefully I should still get a chance to have some fun in it. It's a 1964 Squareback (or Variant) if you prefer. It's got a brand spanking new 1600 engine, good box, and drives like a dream. It's slammed with a 6" narrowed beam up front, and just the right amount of camber out back. Future plans include possibly removing the front adaptors, so the wheels tuck in a bit further, but it'll probably mean changing the brakes. I also want to drop down a couple of tyre sizes at the back as they keep rubbing the arches. On top of that I need to get the electrics sorted and give the interior a bit of a spruce up. More pics to follow later. That hoodride sticker will be straight off too!

I love these VWs, I was a fan of the fastback originally, but now I much prefer these squarebacks!
Gorgeous car, and I'm loving the slammed, roofrack and slightly ratty look! (Fancy giving it to me in exchange for some pocket fluff, my letter box key and a creme egg wrapper? Per-leeeeeease?!)

Liking the wheels, stance, and spangly engine bit, bit of 'cleaning' and it will be teh win

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Very smart. Why have a Beetle when one of these is soooo cool and practical to boot?
Lovin' the blinds!
