That outbidding has enabled me to secure something unretro for almost peanuts - a '99 T reg Skoda Felicia 1.3GLi hatchback in pale blue metallic, 56K, one owner, MOT 'til May, no tax, mint bar one small dent/cracked indicator - cheap as chips!
