Hi folks! My mate was having probs with Photobucket, so I'm posting this for him. Its his 1992 Honda Accord Aerodeck 2.2 auto. What you think? Is it retro enough, or a future J retro classic? I think big wide wheels and lowered, it'd look the canine's ancillaries! Estates are cool Cheers! Graham

A little bland for my tastes. I've always loved the late 1980s Accord for some reason though!

Be interesting with some treatment... (but pegged for future J retro status by being one of the less popular of its range)
I like the earlier ones for sure... wern't the original aerodecks a child of the Scimitar or something??

I can see this slammed over some big shiny dished alloys with as much negative camber as you dare dial in... cool. Early 90's stuff is starting to grab my attention now. In my head that's still quite a new car, but it's now 15 years old! Love it.

I really like these Accords, my parents had a 1990 saloon with the Europe-only carb'd F20 engine and black bumpers. Most reliable car ever - 80,000 miles were covered without trouble and it was never ever serviced - it was just dumped in our garden as nobody wanted to buy it (no MOT, very rough and a fuel leak but mechanically sound) and eventually scrapped . A wine red 2.2 saloon with 4ws would be spaffworthy.

I like it, but obviously I am now slightly biased. These were on my list when I ended up with the Camry – bigger but not so stylish. Is it Japanese-built or American?
There was one of the rare coupe versions for sale a week or two ago on eBay.

Thanks very much for your comments guys! I'll pass them on to my mate. Benzboy, I'm with you - thats exactly how I like to imagine it, I think it'd look the business! Spotted Laurel - J or US? don't know, but I'll ask the owner, he may know.
Cheers! Graham

Is it Japanese-built or American? I think all the saloons and coupes were Japanese built with the Aerodeck being built in Ohio
