Hi everyone, Well I'm new to the forums so i thought id post up some pictures and info about my ride..... Quite simply its a 1969 shell registered as 1971 as it was reshelled, as you will see its not exactly standard .....Fully adjustable lowered Avo shocks all round with monte carlo springs, comp bushes etc, revolution alloys (soon to be starmags), racing seats and harness's, 'special' dash features, Hartwell 1040 block with a Chesman big valve head everything lightened and balanced, r17 cam, webbers, largebore janspeed manifold......too much to list really so i wont bore everyone Here are a few pics when i was building it... And here is what it looked like the other week.... Excuse the poor pic quality Hope they gave you a rough idea... Happy retro riding Matt

Cheers:) Yeah was me lol, Saturday at about 4ish i think, was coming back from Manchester via alderly edge and congleton, nice scenic route:p Were you on the otherside of the road or did i over take?, those roundabouts are right annoying aswell as that silly speed camera put in its own 50 zone clearly located going down a hill to catch people out:p Thanks again everyone really nice to get comments of people about it:)

Thanks Yeah been driving 6 months now, insurance isnt too bad really when you concider all the mods ive done and how much it costs to insure a modern car nowadays, plus i get a discount being in the imp club. I pay £1112 fully comp! Bargain in my opinion, plus i don't pay tax either! ;D Unlucky, yeah love that stretch, i don't live too far from there, I'm inbetween Congleton and Sandbach so about 15 mins or so Thanks everyone Matt
