Originally a Mayfair bought 5 years ago for £100 needing a full rebuild. Had the usual panels replaced eg. front end and door skins and had a full respray.
Ran it with the 998 for a year till I had Spamspeed build me a stage 3/4 head for my MG metro engine. Chucked a 276 kent cam along with a lightened and balanced flywheel which produced 85bhp on the r/road.
At the moment its stripped again awaiting a steel flip front and a Spamspeed stage 4 1340.
Now for my daily. Always loved the Mk2 Golf Gti but always got side tracked with Fords, Vauxhalls ect. but when my mates bro put this up for sale I had to get it.
No major plans for it although I have changed changed the wheels to VW Sebring alloys.
