Ah-ha, interesting So all that was needed are some engine mounts? Did the gear selector line up ok, or do you need to cut the tunnel up a bit?

i will need to cut about 6" back from the origonal selctor hole and around the selctor hole flip it round so the origonal hole is sitting 6" further back and job done its sitting on all cortina mounts gearbox mount is an auto one bolted through the floor with plates welded into the floor to reinfoce it once the interior is back in the center consol will just sit back slightly so should look pretty stock

Awesome I've got a 205block engine with a 5spd T9 from a P100, might build it up nicely and do the same.

man, that bulkhead raely was made for it!!
looks good, I assume that this will make it vastly faster than the stock 1256?
i love the way chevette turrets look like they just stabbed it with a sharp bit of metal from underneath to form the shape!

mounts need a fair bit of work and we did modify the mountings on the crossmember aswell as they tend to be a little week in that area other than that it is a pretty simple swap
