I have always wanted to mod a caddy have u had a look at this forum www.vwcaddy.com its got some realy cool caddys there is also a thread on lowering the rear i think it involves flipping the beam over. ;D

Thanks for the comments guys ;D Not much of an update just been painting bits in the shed with good old hammerite, did the very same to the rear leafs and axle but did the rear purple but ive changed my mind on color so will need to do it again. Think the silver looks classier than the purple. Also found the rear spring hangers i thought i lost, made some up but will put the originals back on. For some reason i put them in the glove box so i didnt loose them

Almost forgot to ask the Rovolution 5 spokes ive got needed a refurb started doing it myself and found lots of paint on them.... ..... i think the white is the original colour but what do i do Gold rim Black spokes or Silver rim Black spoke? Also can powdercoaters do two seperate colours on the one wheel or should i just paint them myself?

Excellent project sir! My two pennorth for what its worth, keep the OG paint and signwriting and go with silver/black combo on the wheels. Nice!

Ive don't the rear axle flip and got 60mm springs for the front adjustable shocks all round, will prob go for the rat look for a wee while till i get cash to paint it. The revos will be my winter/track day wheels as ive got 14 x 8's for summer/shows

powder coaters can do 2 colours but it obviously costs more, could just get em black and polish the rim urself. or paint e ur self which is what id do
