 My 1st car! It was originally my Grandads, then it got used by my dad when his renault 18 got too rusty to move, now its been given to me. Its so completely standard it hurts! I was given it about a month or two and this is what it was like. My dad informs me that i should get 8 months to a year outa it. So what fun things can we do with it in tht time? remembering I'm poor aswel! oh yeah another problem aswel i need to pass my driving test... I'm assured i will b soon!  Its my aim to take it down the strip at Santapod at least once! |

Well its a 5 door so don't go over the top. You can get lowering springs for it really cheaply and its torsion bar on the back so lowering is easy.
Also with it being 4x100 pcd Wheels are easy (and cheap) I would reccomend nothing bigger than 15".
Get some back to black on the bumpers and side trims, clear indicators and clear repeaters and I think it would look great.
What ever you do don't spray it matt black!!

Some alloys off a Clio RT should be a cheap easy switch, then get some black or grey bumper paint and use it to respray the bumpers and plastic side cladding so its all one shade, this along with a t-cut will make the car look new. Just make sure you mask it all off properly and give all the plastic a light rubbing down with 240 grit followed by 1200 grit.

Today i did a service and changed all the bits that needed changing. Its running soooo much better now. Obviously it gona b a daily runner so Reliable = good!  My gran in the pic makes it even cooler! I hate the Hubcaps.  So today i took them off. I kno its a bit ghetto but the wheel are actaully really cool retro. It instantly gives a different look to the car. It will certainly do until i find something better!  We gave the car a quick spin around the block and the brakes are now non-existant. woo next project. it might need all new disks on the front. |

I had the mouldings all loverly n blacked up and the car was soo clean it was really fit! But at the mo theres huge building works down the road and three times a day they decide to sweep the road. Every time it cakes my car in curse word. And that always buggers up the moulding darkening stuff i have. thankfully i will soon have a drive space. Were gettin the R18 ready to go off 2 a renault blokey. it will be missed!  in a way its a shame we rnt scrapping it i was gona try n make the retro allis fit! |

OOO I like the idea of using R5 turbo bits... Just don't put the bodykit on!! For lords sake don't put the GT Turbo kit on a 5 door!! |

LOL! don't worry we r safe from that. I want a rattyish retro not chavvy! Seems a shame to go ratty as it looks quite tidy and solid. I would go for a kinda clean cruiser stylee. Slammed on some bigger renault wheels. I'm a big fan of clio 16v Turbines. ORR what about some ats classics. You can get them for quite cheap nowadays. Or some weller steels in 13x8 flavour |

its true its clean. white cars always look great when they are sparkley. i think bigger wheels wud b good.

Those wheels are cool! yeah the r18 does but this guy wants the car and he might want the wheels too! lol but if this guy stitches us up they r going on my car! And the steering wheel lol its amazing!
