Hi Ash has tempted a few of us 2CVers in to post. These are my pair (well, Mini belongs to my wife). And here's my incoming new project... Oh, and this is a sneaky preview of the beast that I sold last March and STILL miss terribly! Ian

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

easily lowerable, each wheel has a nice threaded height adjustment rod, 15 minutes and it would be a bad low ride :-)
But our dollywobbler has a tendancy to go 'offroading' in his snail, so high it will stay I guess.

The Maestro went this morning for all of £127! That's with tax and test. Oh well. Only paid £125 for it myself (plus the remaining tax) so it's not as bad as some of my purchasing nightmares... Metty is now at my 'local' garage in Birmingham (40 miles from where I now live but I still like the place) awaiting clutch repair before I can get my grubby mitts on it. Better 2CV shot? How about this one? Or perhaps this?

Right as you have started the Tin Snail Invasion here are a few more 'invaders'........................ Elly the dolly again. My Old 2CV Club Parked In Kelso for the 2CV world meeting last year. My 2CV club in the snow looking onto one of my Dyanes Slightly artistic shot of the daily driver via a mirror (look carefully and see the wife in the car, much to her disgust) My old 72 dyane (same as Ash from the forums new ride) Old Faithful, owned this one since I was 16 years old, still got it. Enjoy :-)

I've always been fascinated by the 2CV, but the more I see them, the more I need one! Cool!

Dyanes are the clever option. They don't fetch anywhere near the money of the 2CV making them superb value. As Ash proves, Dyanes look good slammed too!

hehe gotta love a 2cv (after hating them for many many years)
|
|
once again rocking with 1117cc and 4 gears!

That's the thing. They get a lot of stick but it's not until you drive one that you really realise just how fantastic they are. Quiet, fast, refined are three things they definitely are NOT but you cannot have more fun in a car without breaking the speed limit!
Well, you could test the suspension with a like-minded partner - that's fun too!
