Hello all, some may remember I was building a Land Rover series 2a (which I finished), due to several reasons, I had to sell it, still miss it in some ways but the money I made on the Landy I paid for my Golf, and insured it. Only cost 890 quid to insure TPFT, which I thought was very reasonable seeing as I'm 19 and have no no-claims at all. Its mint really. Very very happy with it, and it costs way less to insure than my ex's poopy 1.0 corsa, or my mates 1.25 fiesta thing, both of which have no soul. No plans really, its been lowerd since the pics, and I have got a sub and JBL speakers in the standard positions, want to keep it mint really and leave it as VW intended.

hehe, that brings back memories - reminds me of being little!!
my dad had one exactly the same as that - C reg, black, same stripey seats, 4 button steering wheel. only difference is his didn't have the p-slot wheels, just had the steelies
the quarter window ones like that are starting to get quite rare now!

How much... would you think this car is worth? If say perhaps I was thinking of selling to fund an XR4i?....
Done 118,000 miles, got LOTS of history with it, no real rot anywhere, interior is spot on...

I recon about £800-1000 if you get the right buyer, rust free XR4i start at around a grand!
