don't worry, I'm not keen on the eyebrow thing either. Its there to serve a purpose, which is hide VWs bodge.
The classic which the headlight came off has a bonnet trim that runs across the bonnet and top of the grill to hide the gap at the edges of the bonnet. Looked bad without it, so I put that brow on to hide it.
Got 3 polos at the mo, need to shift one though. Thinking this one, but I'm not sure...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

How many people on here have thought 'What a cool idea, why has no-one built one of these before' since this car first appeared! I had an H-reg G40 once, I put bilstiens all round (Mk1 Golf struts on the front), Mk2 Golf rear callipers and Corrado callipers on the front. I got a chip off ebay in Germany. It went like wibblepoo off a shovel but it was rusty and white so I used to tell people it was my good ladys runabout! ;>D

This is the sweetest looking Polo I`ve ever seen, if you`re gonna get rid of one don't make it this one. Right colour, right wheels, looks ace without the grille badge - perfect.

Nice looking car there If i had to choose, i'd get rid of this one as prefer the silver one without the side trim and indicators - just looks classier and more 'retro' for some reason. They're all nice tho!

If only everything in life was as cool as a retro VW racer.

Strange that not more people building Polo sedan's (Called Derby over here) They are really cool to look at, I think better then the more usual stationwagon and coupe... I like the job on the grill and the combos looks insane on this car... But I agree with vwdan about the plastic on the side. The indicators could be removed or you could put in a indicator from eks. Golf 3. Here is a pitcure of Norway's most rebuilt Polo...
