I have just got my new project Car.. Project 996 ;D  The car has been converted already to a 1.8 GTi from a 1.3 Driver by the last owner... I haven't had time to clean it yet, Its been sat outside for the last 2 1/2 years.... But I have taken the old grille and headlights out and replace them with a chrome grille and a set of Cross Headlights.... I'm in two minds of what to do with it, as I have a chrome Roof Rack and some chrome US Bumpers sat in the Garage and turn it into a show car or Turn it into a Track Car.... One thing I do need asap is a Set of Front Seats....  |

Forgot to say, When I clean it I will take some more pictures... Also it will be wearing these in the Next week..  |

I'm off work tommorow and the cleaning will begin then... And more pictures taken then....
It needs dropping as its at standard ride hight.. Just got a set of Koni's and Eibach Springs off the Germany E-bay... so a 40mm drop on the cards....
The only issue with the car is its no seats.... Looking at for a cheap set of Porsche 'Tombstone' seats or just maybe a set just a set of Corrado Fronts.... We will see what turns up....

Aha you got one and what a choice, with the engine already pumped up. Plans sound pretty good, track mods with a simplistic style will be great. Did you contact that chap i mentioned and get it in them lock ups, or did you find summat closer? |

My mate is selling a full set of corrado vr6 seats if you are interested mate. You might be able to get them picked up when the wheels are picked up or something.

I had a look on those sites mate, nothin i fancy there really, guess i'll just have to keep looking !
i will find one though, i haven't had a Golf in ages, i used to have 3-4 Mk1Gti's and a 1300 rally car, got into building escort rally cars for a living though and lost touch with my vw side, recently it's bitten me bad though !!
