Thought it about time I started a thread for the Rocco...everyone else has made the effort so I thought I'd better (it might give me some encouragement to do some work as well) This was the week I picked it up: Obtained a new drivers wing which was then prep'd, and sprayed in the correct white (unfortunate the rest of the car had faided a bit!) Fitted the lowering springs, TSW Adikts, new drivers wing and sorted some of the rust bubbles out on the door / rear wing: Decided upon a new paint scheme (with the help of most on here!) drivers side masked and sprayed: Here's the drivers wing with the chex: And a pic from C.A.R.S 2006: Picked up a 1.8 16v (KR) engine cheap from make a man broke bay ebay: I've started dissmantling the engine, and found time to clean up the metering head / airbox: Now slowly collecting the other bits for the conversion...I will try and keep the thread rolling as bits are done.

I'm quite intrigued as to what it would look like with the black continued past the rear wheelarches...

I'm quite intrigued as to what it would look like with the black continued past the rear wheelarches... *n i think it would look kinda the same, just going a bit further back. (sorry, just had a sudden bout of sarcasm lol) really have to make my brother get some alloys for his, looks so much better

Thanks for the commenst guys. I'm still thinking it needs different alloys TBH - I'm not that happy with the offset / dish or colour...I can remidee one of those simply but it won't solve all the problems I've got a set of Porsche cookie cutters in the garage, but the price of adaptors has put me off buying some...maybe I'll try and make my own someday ;D The black / chex won't continue past the rear arches as I didn't want to car to look as if it'd been split in two - which is why I removed the rear rub strips...oh and the Octopus 'O' Doom has yet to make an appearance...

I was thinking that the other day...though I see a nice blue Baja in the mornings to flash (!) at now Not sure about the wheels to be honest...I've seen some very nice deep dish 5 spokes on an MX5 (not sure on model) that look nice - I just want something different so don't want ATS Cups, BBS's etc...ideas?
