I have done a deal with the old Mk1 Cavalier and I am getting this in a week or two. ;D It may be destined for a 2 litre SRi130 engine and a bit of body and suspension tweeking..   Ita a 2 litre Auto but I have a 5 speed to fit and a Grey recaro interior to relpace the BLUE one currently in it.  |

No I'm not selling a 2 door, if I had one I wouldnt sell it....not sure what the spolier is but it looks right I think it has been on Ebay but I'm not getting it off there... Yes I have the red Mk1 Cav...this one here  Also have this one you know of Mr B but is rotten and going for spares..  |

Both the Cav and the Ascona are spectacular shame about the Orange one it looks great as it is. Grille and spots need to go on the Silver one if the Orange one really has had its chips. You`ve got a Manta as well. I`m genuinely jealous.

So that's what you've got up your sleeve Mick. Vic is right, you need to fit the earlier grill and spots to the silver one, pity the chrome bumpers aren't good enough to go on as well.

Shame about the orange one! but if its rotten then fair enough. I remember it was very 'crunchy' round the backs of the sills, what are the A-posts like?

A posts rotten at the bottom, sills at the back, inner wings behind the headlights, front panel like tissue paper, both wings shot, scuttle panel under the screen seal holed, rear screen lip missing most of the way across the bottom, rear shelf holed into the boot, both wheelarches gone, lower inner arches gone, chassis legs crumbling, rear valance rotten all the way across....etc etc.. Plus it lost its engine and interior for the MK1 Cavalier..and the rest of the drivetrain is going to convert an Ascona to Manual, not mine, another one... Steve this wasnt the original plan but its swayed this way...Tried to call you, goes to answer, emails not delivered...are you trying to tell me something?? ;D ;D |

Argh! Sounds like a right old heap! Fair play to you for achieveing a high recyclage quotient! Hats off to you Mk1 Cav boys, a great car. I love the silver one with the big chin.

Gonna get some mods done, lowered with different wheels, not sure what yet but will be retro not new curse word, maybe E30 15inch X spokes as I had them on my Manta and they fit the arches well. Grey recaros and all the stuff to make the interior a hive of blackness as black goes with anything not like BLUE  . ;D The engine will probably end up as a Cavalier SRi130 unit with 5 speed box and different axle ratio to perk it up a bit. I have a vented disc conversion and Mintex M1144? pads to go in. Best thing is, RWD and its a light rear end too... |

Mick, my mobile's being a right pain in the neck at the moment, think it's time for a new handset as it rarely has signal. Not sure what's going on with the e-mail, some stuff seems to be coming through, but Joe sent me one I've not got as well.
