Thanks! *That* side's not too bad, the other one however.... lol not too bad really, but it needs a new driver's side door or a few tubs of filler on it. Oh and I need to get rid of the standard steering wheel cos it's ugly. other than that a few small bits of rust to deal with and I need to put the new rear bumper on, but not got round to it yet

Hehehe - ouch. Get it sorted, boyo. Get your ass to your local RR meet too *n yeah will do, keeping my eye out for a new door on eGay, for the time being i might just pull it out best i can and try and tidy it up a bit. mmmmm capri. driving it into bags of sand wont help either haha how did the door get done? lol, that's my neighbours leaving all their curse word about the place (Grrr) How it happened? some drunk guy wandered into the road in front of me, so i beeped him. stopped at the traffic lights, and he does it again when they go green, so i give him the finger. unfortunately i get stopped at another set of lights, and this retard comes up to my door and starts mouthing off. cos he's clearly a bit of a tit, i wind up the window, so he punches the window. not wanting to risk him doing it again and it smashing, i open the door, and smack him with it. it doesn't quite have the effect i was hoping it would, it merely enrages him, and he knees the door several times before i can drive off. i was gonna go back and have some "words" with him, but my gf was getting a bit hysterical. Apparently i did get him in the nose though (and also i'm pretty sure which bar he would have come out of, so i may go in and have a sly look around) Looks good, explains your username on OcUK. yeah, very imaginative aren't i? lol Thats not a dent, thats 'character'! Loving the fade out stripes and "Copper Cobras". Beast. yeah i love the tyres, not always 100% sure on the stripes though, but i can't quite bring myself to remove them. they're better than some capri stripes!

Noice! As pensk pointed out that looks positively fresh. It's when your car starts looking like this you should worry: Welcome btw Thanks! that one might not look too good atm, but ppl can see it's a work in progress, not really the same with mine cos i haven't actually got round to starting sorting the little bits that need doing! is it your car? u know if someone is mouthing off and punching ur windows, u can actually drive thru red lights, theres no force field or anything preventing u. hahahaha seriously tho bad luck but if it was done with a knee then it should pop out okish yeah i know, i wish i had! it all happened so quick i didn't really have to time think, quite disappointed with myself really, i just sat there like a lemon (other than smacking him in the nose). tried pushing the dent out from behind, but its awkward to get at the exact spot. someone suggested pulling it out with a plunger so i'll give that a go, doubt it will work somehow though. I bloody love capris, leave the lazer stripes on they are class! yeah, think they'll stay on for the moment, would only really take them off if was doing anything radical, ie removing bumpers, rubbing strips etc, filling in the holes and basically tidying up all the dodgy bits left behind (too much work and money for the moment) so for the moment the bumpers and stripes are gonna stay on, only real planned mods are change of wheels (probably some wolfrace slotmags when i can find some 7 inch ones, i'm hopefully gonna sort the suspension out (2.8i stuff and maybe polybushes), maybe nicer interior, maybe a 4 branch manifold and decent exhaust.

Polybushes are deffinately worth doing. More so than the shocks and springs to be honest as a tight set up on the shocks and springs will only expose your soggy bushes even more. Polybushed my 'Tina and even on the original sh@ged springs and shocks it handled fantasticaly!

sounds like your being a bit harse to your capri mate, the only thing that letting it down is the driver door, looks sound apart form that, those wheels would look wicked if u detailed em with black and silver

Is it an Auto? Is the wheel leather trimmed? Colour is brilliant, like the lettering on the tyres, back arches are 1/2 an hours work by look of it, reckon the door is gone to be honest, doubt you`ll get all the lines back, but it could ceratinly look better for the time being with a bit of hammering and filling. Wings don't seem to have any real rot which is rare, but if you touch that little bit on the drivers side in now and schutz or waxoyl the underside it could save you replacing the wing later, I left a little bit like that on my Capri in `98 and by 2000 the wing needed replacing, in fact get busy with the underseal all over the underside if you havent already especially round the front end.

Polybushes are deffinately worth doing. More so than the shocks and springs to be honest as a tight set up on the shocks and springs will only expose your soggy bushes even more. Polybushed my 'Tina and even on the original sh@ged springs and shocks it handled fantasticaly! cool, thanks. I've heard that polybushes for the TCAs are bad, and heavy duty rubber ones are a lot more reliable, so might do that for the TCAs. will have to see if my technical skills are up to it! sounds like your being a bit harse to your capri mate, the only thing that letting it down is the driver door, looks sound apart form that, those wheels would look wicked if u detailed em with black and silver thanks, yeah I do tend to be a bit harsh, I can be a bit of a pessimist at times! yeah the wheels do like quite good when they're clean, such a pain keeping them like that though, I swear they'd need doing every week! hmmm black detailing might look quite good actually. I really want some 7" wide ones though, think they look so much better with nice wide tyres (incidentally they are 205/60/13 - bit wide really for 6" wheels, and probably makes the handling worse, but I think it looks good hi jc, thats a nice capri shame about the door though. Why do pee heads do things like that? once had one jump on my bonnet and demand a lift home! I might have a drivers door at work ill have a look if your intrested. that sucks I had some drunk ask me for a lift home as I was pulling into my drive! I think I said I would but i'm home now (i was lying though, I never would of lol, don't want random ppls puke on my carpet!) yeah might be interested in a door, as long as it's not too far away lol!
