Hello ladies and gents! I've been lurking for a while and really enjoyed seeing people with the passion to put interesting cars back on our roads so wanted to contribute! I'm particularly a big fan of everything J-tin but also have a soft spot for Scimitars as my dad owned many through the years and restored a couple in the last 5. Anyway here is my project which I've owned now for about 5 months!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Arrghh there are some great cars turning up on here today. My favourite shape RX7. I especially like the rear view - as long as its got the round rear lights (or they glow round anyway).

Hawt.
Love the FC's, easily my favourite of the RX7's, mmm 13B turbo goodness! Is yours a Series 4 or a Series 5? I especially like the way the bonnet scoops on them are mounted off centre!

Very nice car you have there. I have the exact same car, 87 model though, with a heap of work for racing but sadly it is now up for sale before it is finished. What are the plans for it? Any more pics?

Thanks for the welcome everyone! My plans for the car are to keep it very period and true to what the car is about. I've made a few purchases recently so I've got some parts coming over from Japan. My recent purchase is a set of 17x8 and 17x9 Rays Mazdaspeed MS01 wheels (as pictured) I'm going to get them refurbed when they arrive and haven't decided yet if I should keep the factory gold centre or go for silver centre with a polished lip. I'm on the lookout for a decent set of coilovers to accomodate the wheels. I'd like to swap the rear seats (useless) for the rear bins option that was available in Japan and the US to make it a pure 2 seater. A set of front and rear Mazdaspeed strut braces will go on as well. There's tons of items I'm going to get to restore/improve the car and I'll throw up a few pictures in the coming months.
