Ok folks, ive been on retro-rides for a while now and never really got involved to much with posting etc.
I have this KE70 and my 1983 AE86 which i was planning to use for 'drifting' but to be honest I can afford all that sort of stuff as I love my cars to be clean etc and also I REALLY LOVE late 70/early 80's J cars esp Toyotas!
So, this is my second Ke70 I have owned (my other was a facelift 1982 GL) and I have a few big plans for his car.
At the moment its metalic brown and running a 1.3 carb 4k engin, good little rever achiving 70 bhp!
I plan on changing all that by the arrival of a 4age with ITB's and a ae86 rear axel. coilovers , ae86 brakes, uprated TRD ARB, TRD Blue short stroke 8 way adj shocks rear, 8kg (f) 6kg (r) springs, Hks manifold, and custom exhaust, stutbraces, ae86 rear axel, t50 box, kepping all the std interior.
Also have a set of 14in SSR mesh 2x 14x8 and 2x14x7.7 but one of the 7.5 are bust!
As for the outside, well thats gonna stay as it is except for a few 'JDM' touches such as twin headlights, different side repeters, maybe wing mounted mirrors (havent decided yet) and a front lip (if I can find one!).
Anyway, as money is tight at the moment, I cant afford to by some of the last parts for my project (namely the new ECU to Run ITB's, re other small parts that needed for the conversion) so I have put up the start on my KE70 and plan to keep the 4k engine until Xmas time and get it used for the summer (or whats left of it!)
