As you all know i have a mk2 polo g40 track car as my daily driver, with the cage, and race seats ;D Well i decided to tuck her away for the end of summer, and winter as I'm doing some changes & engine mods to her and bring her out again begin of next year, & get myself a more pratical car for a daily driver. Here is some pics of my little baby Jabber G40 (its her name  ), i love the g40 so had to buy a mk3 polo g40 to see if there the same. She isnt all that at the moment, as needs a good clean, and polish so ill post some better pics up next week. Her engine mods: Fully blend charger Chip (stage 5 sns) & 65 pulley Induction kit & jabba sport heat sheild flowed g40 throttle bodie and manifold 40mm koni drop Polly bushed all around I want somethink that is quite standard looking for now, to have a rest from the cops, and a more comfy ride aswell. with a fullblend and 65mm pulley, you ain't gonna have a rest from the cops! SNS chip is also the best one to have, gets rid of the pesky lag when you boot it.
i'd say that's putting out 160 brake to start with... the flowed throttle body alone helps enormously, you seen the size of the wedge that gets taken out?
nice work though - hankering thoughts of importing another G40 from the fatherland after mine went to Ireland (well, it keeps the number in the country the same!), especially when i realised you can get a minter for £1k!

They cant hear it though it all standard on the outside, and a standard exhuast, when you drive her the car is saying rag me hard. Thats the chip though sns chips are animals.
Mine cost me £1500 for it and its well worth it, a nice sleeper and also has a longer ratio 5 gear for crusing so it don't use much petrol

If it was me I would leave it as is. If its a daily aint doing all those mods reduce the fuel consumption even more. Then again if you have a alot of WAD then go for it.
nice motor though.

No all them mods don't affect her, as i do alot of long distance motorway driving and when I'm crusing at say 90mph, its only 3500 rpm so good.

SNS chip is also the best one to have, gets rid of the pesky lag when you boot it. Lag? Its supercharged. Anyway sweet car, good power and fag packet weight, I LOVE OLD CARS!!!!!!!!

They are rare cars, people do sell them you know, and i manged to get a second one as the person selling this one, is good mates with my other half.
And yeah superchargers do have lag on them, on certain points of low rpm they don't kick stright in, when i had my charger done to full blend plus, i had a little lag, then i put a chip and pulley on her, and she had a little lag as it wasnt the best of chip.
The mk3 is to slow for me, I'm used to my mk2 which is a pocket rocket without doubt.

G40s and G60s suffer from what is known as "Digi-lag" whereby the ECU gets in a fumble and doesnt fully enrich the mixture when you go for wide open throttle straight away. The SNS chips are good gear, and I know Bilal at SNS-UK has put a massive amount of research into his maps
