Here's my daily driver, I use it every day for work. It is a bit tatty but solid enough, and the 1.6 turbo diesel engine is now on 166k miles, and it still pulls OK, even when carrying 1 tonne of sand!
I didn't want a Transit, so I bought this. A lot of the people I do work for are middle aged, and quite like the fact that I am an intelligent "property maintenance" (handyman!) person, who drives an interesting vehicle. And they often have a fondness for the seventies and T2s!
Only mods are Audi wheel trims, leather Audi steering wheel, and a Recaro drivers seat (with pump up lumbar support).
Planned mods include putting racks in the back to hold pipes, wood, and tins of paint. At present I just chuck them all in the back and then spend ages looking for things.
