Uber clean! Great colour too! As long as the mods aren't irreverisble then i don't see a problem. Welcome BTW

Lovely, nice to see an early MR2 which hasn't been crashed/bodged/barry'd!

Cheers. It's the best car i've ever owned! I had a MK2 turbo before this and it was no where near as good to drive! Mods will most definately be reversable and will not be done 'barry' style . I want to keep it all retro and with the style of the car. Hardest part is choosing rims! Do I keep the originals or change to 15's

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I've noticed that you're calling it a Mk1B, I'm assuming there's an earlier 'A' model then? What are the differences? My quest for knowledge knows no bounds! ;D

This is the MK1A Obviously there are minor cosmetic differences but there are a few techy bits too, which i'm not 100% on. Think bigger brakes and suspension where the main differences With the B

The prefacelift AW11 MR2 also had a bluetop 4AGE as well didn't it, whereas the one you have there seems to bee running the later redtop 4AGE. Have different side vents, front and rear bars etc..... and minor interior differences. Not convinced they had bigger brakes, S/C MR2's may well have done though.
Either way, what a minter! I say yes to some lightweight J style 15" rims, maybe some Enkei RP01's or similar, lower it slightly and you're away laughing!

I would definately love some Enkei's but they're rare as poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo! . Have been on the rarerims site and there's some nice Rota's that i'm tempted by (retro style with gunmetal and polished rim finish) . Only thing is, if I do that then I'm gonna have to sort the suspension too lol. Hmm, might start saving for some Leda's

Do it Gunmetal with a polished lip, on the silver car would be supremely awesome!!!! Re: the Enkei's, I forget that the UK wasn't as fortunate as us in getting all sorts of bizarre JDM cars in as used (grey) imports that often came with a bunch of bizarre JDM aftermarket parts fitted. Was watching a friend hack his AW11 MR2 round a local racetrack on the weekend, goopd stuff to see, I also have a mate back down in the South Island with a 12sec quarter mile SW20 MR2.....
