It will stay looking like this, until i have to do something. No terminal rot, only a little welding near lower left doorhinge and drivers side rear floor needed, everything works just fine.  Will possibly refurbish the roofrack, and paint it, as i think it looks a bit odd black, dunno why.. Wouldnt know what colour to paint it though. Silver and add wood slats? Chrome and wood? Hot pink? ;D or just a better black (this one is peeling off) with wood slats? i got a fold-up Kombi bicycle to put on the roofrack, along with old luggage and gascan 8) drives like a charm, i`ve driven 700 km`s with it since last friday ;D |

Well, a buddy of mine REALLY needed a car, that and he gave me a offer i couldnt refuse. Sierra is still going strong, no need to be worried ;D Then the day after i sold it, this bug came in the local paper, for the same amount of cash that i got for the Sierra. `twas a sign i`m telling you, A SIGN! ;D

Dang! Was tipped off on some old garage that a guy is storing\fixing up some old bugs in.. The garage revealed to hold 2 58-61 bugs, a blue oval (i want it!!! Possibly for sale too  ), half a split (!) perched on top of a Kubelwagen!! Gaaaaah! Sorry, no pics, didnt have my cam with me.. Will be sure to take some pics later on! |

thats cool, but what is the thing in the back window? and what dose the sticker next to it say??
I'm guessing the pink seat covers were prob red at some time, and prob went very well with the wheels!

The thing in the back window is the ashtray for the right side rear interiour panel, but the panel is messed up.. The sticker says "don't honk, i`m driving as fast as i can" ;D I have removed it now, seemed a bit girly to me  |
