Hi new to the forum this is my first post, so this is a bit about my van I own a mk1 astra van which i brought in 2004, two owners, 94,000 miles and completly standard 1600cc. And it's been two years in the making It's had various new panels wing, sills, arches, bonnet, repairs to the inner wings and inner rear arches, and painted in original polar white and fitted with 2.0 xe (red top). it's had lots of new parts too like headlight, indicators, grille, rear lights, badges etc I wanted it looking quite original but with a few mods, nova mirrors, colour coded bumbers and door handles, de-locked de-wipered, clear repeaters lowered with 17's inside it's got mint gte recaro's and fitted gte clocks thats about it. It's nearly finished and it passed it MOT on saturday

Excellent!
I think those old Astra Vans & Wagons are 203% QUALITY. And one that goes like stink is even better.
I'd bosh some stock black placca bumpers on and get some shonky signwriting on there pronto!
'Dodgy Bob's carpeting services - a quality lay while-u-wait' (etc.)

Thanks guys glad you like it, i brought it because it was a bit different and there's not many about. I brought the wheels two years ago when i first started the project but now i don't really like them, so i've got hold of some porsche 7 slots of a 928, but not sure if to go original colour or get them polished Excellent! I'd bosh some stock black placca bumpers on and get some shonky signwriting on there pronto! 'Dodgy Bob's carpeting services - a quality lay while-u-wait' (etc.) The bumpers were in a real bad way with spot lamp holes and lots of scuffs so had them de-textured and painted, they look ok but i prefer the black ones. bumpers aint availiable new so i'm in the process of trying to get new ones from ebay etc. and love the signwriting idea

Mate that is absolutely superb, just what a retro car is all about. Beautiful! I am in full agreement on the black bumper issue, don’t worry too much about the wheels, the ones you have on look champion to me. GREAT WORK!!

Awesome idea with the new wheel choice. Definetly polished FTW. Will rule when it has the wheels and black bumpers. Well done mate you've built a blinder

Did you hit 88mph and go back to the future? I must say it is a worthy bump though as that is pretty awesome.
