Maybe a future classic ;D Anyhoo, I need to boast about this one...  96' Vw Polo, 1.6. She's a left hooker, but the spec is brilliant. Air con, Central locking, power steering, sunroof.... They specced these cars up well for the foreign market. I had a 96 polo when they were new and you were lucky seats came as standard ;D Ebay buy, guy reckoned the gearbox had gone, but turns out it's just the clutch cable  Brilliant. The price? £180.... |

Cheers folks. Does need a little TLC, and a new clutch cable.
But after sitting for three months at the side of the road, it's filty and covered in bird poop.
It hadnt even been started for that time either. Connected up the jump leads and 1/4 of a turn of the started and it burst into life.... God bless fuel injection...
It's got a full Italian service history as well.
Crackin little buy if you ask me....
Now to go about lowering and getting some new rims...

nice..and a bargain too! what about satin custard yellow, dropped (of course) ovr some polished moon discs or baby moons on gloss red steels. Bit of red and white striping and maybe some old race numbers and you could have a comedy salt flat racer  |

Slammed on some rims that will sit just inside the arches, make it look like a racer from the outside, but I am not a fan of the stripped out interiors, so maybe some bucket seats and some simple sounds... Not going overboard with it, just keeping it within the boundaries of the car itself...>CHEAP. I do have some 16inch Porka 928 rims that would look spiffing on the car...  |
