My final post for the night (can you tell I'm bored - 5 posts at 3am in the morning! haha).
Just wanted to stick up some pics of my other car. I have a very strange attachment to this car (even thou its nothing special) that I cant explain - anyhow, this is it:
Same pic as you may see in the post about the 230e. I bought her for a meer £100 with tax and test. I assumed I would just run it until the MOT ran out.. which I did. Then, it passed an MOT after just two tiny patches on the floor... couldn't believe it, nothing else wrong with it!! Any way, car through its MOT it still lives on after a small list of work fixing little things that were curse word me off:
New interior (replaced the sick cream with a sh1tty brown - joy - but no tears in this interior - pukka!)
new tyres, wore the buggers out drifting it through winter!
new water pump - 5 hour crawl through traffic on the M1 one friday evening saw the end to the old pump!
new radiator - a minor modification to the viscous fan caused it to find a new home while doing 90... in the radiator: remove remains of viscous fan + rad, get leccy one, new radiator, £80 more skint and car was back on the road...
CD player with stealth install (6*9's under the shelf behind OEM speaker grills - sweet)
New air box... the old boy who had it before thought it a good idea to remove the air box... and loose it, MONKEY!
new window motors... bloody windows, finally working now after a few months of the window sliding down at random due to lack of motor - another part 'lost' by the previous owner... how the FCUK do you loose a window motor - its in the door!
good genral service (oil change every 2k) as well as new plugs leads and nice new belt.... and bloody complicated belt at that! new disks and pads for £40 too - bargin! good old GSF and halfrauds trade!
And that my friends is the story of the merc 190e. unfortunately I may have to sell her soon
